PADI Rescue Diver Course in Peoria

Serious fun! Do Dive In’s Rescue Diver course makes the serious subject of accident prevention and management enjoyable and rewarding. In conjunction with the PADI Emergency First Response course and the DAN Oxygen Provider course, you will be prepared to deal with both diving and non-diving emergencies as a first responder. Rescue training expands your knowledge of diving, increases your level of diving skills and self confidence, and makes you more aware of what is happening around you in the diving environment. The course is divided into knowledge development and open water practice and is an important prerequisite for Divemaster training and Master Scuba Diver certification.

Rescue diver training will make you a better diver and a better buddy! Every diver needs the training provided by the Rescue Diver class.

Course Format

Prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water certification, Jr Advanced Open Water  or equivalent, plus Emergency First Response certification or equivalent.

Tuition:  $275 plus student kit

Duration: Approximately 8 hours of classroom instruction plus 2 days of open water training.

Student Provides: Rescue Diver student kit, personal diving equipment and lake entry fees.

Do Dive In also offers a Rescue Diver refresher course to help certified Rescue Divers keep their skills up to date.
